—–Here are 5 reasons why—–

The most versatile country

One of the best things about Australia is that there is something for everyone all in one country. If you are looking to relax in nature, pump your adrenaline by the ocean, visit a bustling city or soak up some culture, you can find the perfect destination for you. The best way to explore this country is to visit lots of different places, and get a more rounded experience.

The Great Barrier Reef

Scuba diving is an amazing way to see parts of the world that are otherwise hidden and there is no better place to do this that the Great Barrier Reef. The world’s largest coral reef, it’s like a world of its own, filled with colourful creatures, plants, and predators. Scuba diving is only one of the ways you can explore this amazing area – why not try a glass bottom boat, swimming with dolphins or even from up high in a helicopter? If you’re heading to Australia on your honeymoon this is a really fantastic, romantic option.

The animals

Although Australia does have its fair share of deadly critters, there are also a whole host of unique and wonderful animals that are a pleasure to see up close! Kangaroos, koalas, and dingos are some of the most well-known, but also keep your eyes peeled for emus, echidna, platypus, wallabies and a host of colorful snakes and spiders. The National Parks are a great way to see these creatures in their natural habitats, but be cautious – as fluffy as they may seem, that doesn’t mean you should forget that they are wild animals.

Sydney

Aside from the harbor and opera house, there are so many amazing things to see and do in Sydney – it’s hard to get bored in an amazing place like this. Take a stroll around one of the beautiful parks before heading to one of the incredible eateries. Relax on Bondi beach or hit King’s Cross for a crazy night on the town with the locals. There are plenty of art galleries, museums, and tours that can be done for free, and keep your eyes peeled for one of the over 30 events that are held every year.

The beaches

Let’s face it, Australia is known for their beaches, and it’s easy to see why – more than 10,000 beaches stretch for almost 50,000 kilometers to make up the coastline of Australia. They are all publically owned and have the whitest sand in the world. With all those beaches it is easy to find one that you will love, whether you are looking to do water-based activities or just soak up the sun.

10 million Aussies travelled abroad in 2016-17, and it’s hard to imagine why anyone would ever want to leave this haven, even for a little while. Australia is the perfect place for a romantic honeymoon, and while you fall in love with Australia, you will find yourself falling even more in love with each other. So, what are you waiting for?
