Welcome to Barbados home to beautiful seascapes that provide the perfect location for a destination wedding, sport activities, wellness and duty free shopping.  Bridgetown has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  If you love historic churches, Barbados has over 100 to visit.  Barbados is predominantly Anglican.  Bridgetown is the capital city with Oistins in the south and Holetown and Speightstown in the west.  Camouflage clothing is not excepted on the island.  The island of Barbados is only 166 square miles, so very easy to get around.

Water – You can drink water from the tap anywhere on the island.

Transportation – Driving is on the left hand side of the road.  A valid Canadian driver’s license is required to rent a car.  Taxis, cars and moped are available to rent.

The Trade winds offer a fairly consistent cool breeze to the island.  The average temperature is around 78 degrees Fahrenheit.  Barbados has two season dry (winter & spring) a bit cooler temperatures with less rain, and wet season (summer & autumn) with higher temperatures and more rain.

The average daily rainfall is less than 1/4 inch making it an ideal location to visit year round.  Weather can change several times in a day here.  It may offer the occasional shower but shouldn’t spoil your activities.
